Perco E712 is a generic pain reliever containing 10mg of oxycodone (an opioid) and 325mg of acetaminophen (a non-opioid). It’s used for moderate to severe pain when other treatments haven’t worked.
How It Works
- Oxycodone acts on the central nervous system to reduce pain perception.
- Acetaminophen relieves pain and reduces fever. Together, they offer enhanced relief.
Uses
Prescribed for pain from injuries, surgery, chronic conditions, or cancer.
Dosage
Usually, one tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Taking more than 4000mg of acetaminophen per day can cause liver damage.
Precautions
- Addiction Risk: Oxycodone can lead to dependence, misuse, or overdose.
- Respiratory Depression: Can slow or stop breathing, especially with other depressants.
- Liver Damage: High doses of acetaminophen can be toxic.
- Interactions: Avoid alcohol, sedatives, or other medications without your doctor’s approval.
- Withdrawal: Don’t stop suddenly—taper off under medical supervision.
- Drowsiness: Avoid driving or using machinery until you know its effects.
