Elipam (Generic) 10mg

Elipam-10 contains 10 mg of diazepam, a benzodiazepine used to relieve anxiety, relax muscles, prevent seizures, and manage alcohol withdrawal symptoms. It works by enhancing the calming effects of GABA, a neurotransmitter in the brain, helping reduce excessive nerve activity.

Uses

• Short-term relief of anxiety disorders
• Muscle spasms and stiffness
• Seizure disorders (adjunctive treatment)
• Alcohol withdrawal symptoms
• Pre-operative anxiety and sedation
  Short-term treatment of insomnia linked to anxiety

Dosage and Administration

• 10 mg is a high dose; not always the starting dose
• Take exactly as prescribed; do not increase the dose or frequency
• Swallow with water; avoid alcohol

Warnings and Precautions

• Risk of dependence, tolerance, and withdrawal—use short-term only
• Can cause drowsiness, dizziness, and impaired coordination
• Avoid combining with alcohol or CNS depressants
• Use with caution in elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with liver/kidney issues or mental health concerns
